Just a few short moments ago, a team and I released TalkStraight.org.

Barack Obama and his political attack dog, David Axelrod, released FightTheSmears.com during the climax of the Democratic Primary. He successful debunked several rumors and changed the face of online politics forever.

He then set his eyes on John McCain and several Republicans not even remotely associated with McCain’s campaign. He decided to backtrack and accuse Republicans of spreading the initial rumors. Politics as usual.

John Kerry is doing his part as well. A few days ago, with some free plugs from the mainstream media, he launched TruthFightsBack.com. Where is the right?

With no sign of McCain’s team doing anything (online) to combat the rumors that the DNC and Obama have been slugging around, short of this decision center, I gathered a group of bloggers and an editor to release TalkStraight.org. We are a diverse group of individuals set on changing the debate from a popularity contest to an election on the issues, the character of these two Senators, and their respective governing philosophies. There is a Muslim, an African America, two women, a Democrat, several Independents, a hard-lined Conservative, and a few more that are on this all volunteer team.

Our objective is to assimilate fact sheets and information to be disseminated at no cost, so that Americans may make an alternative decision than what the mainstream media would present them with.

We plan to follow the dollars, expose Obama’s character, reveal his lies, tackle his policies, and debunk relevant rumors.

Action

We need you. I cannot be more frank. Without right-leaning and disenfranchised left-leaning Americans, adopting TalkStraight.org as a source for investigative research – we are dead in the water and give more ground to the manipulative and calculative politics as usual Obama promises.

Here’s three ways you can plug in and help ensure Obama does not win this election:

1. Donate to the site to keep it up and running, covers server costs, time, and hopefully future give-a-ways
2. Support our sponsors by purchasing something from their store or heading over to their site – make sure they tell that store TalkStraight.org sent them
3. Join Our Action Alert newsletter list. We’ll send out short emails on how people can spread the truth and how people can combat radical Liberalism

I’m often asked by my MySpace readers, ‘What can I do to help in a red state?’ I tell them, ‘There’s a lot you can do online and target specific people in swing states.’ Disseminating investigative research based in truth is the first step.
