Considering Obama is running as a uniter it’s bizarre that he seems incapable of treating Hilary Clinton and her supporters with respect. It’s no shock that Obama didn’t pick Senator Clinton as VP, however, he couldn’t have much less gracious if he had tried. Shortly after Senator Obama became the presumtive nominee, he told Clinton supporters to ‘get over it’. Then he says that Senator Clinton would be on anyones short list, but doesn’t vet her. He apparently never even gave her the courtesy of a phone call to ask her on her take on the VP pick, or to give her a heads up about who he had chosen. Finally, he announces his pick at 3 a.m. in what appears to be a completely unnecessary poke in the eye to the Clinton campaign. This seems less like the politics of hope and change and more like school yard antics.

What did you want Senator clinton to get from Obama? A gold medal for praising Obama? Were you paying any attention to the caucus and primaries? Did you not see clinton badmouth obama, put out attacked adds. The decisons to pick Hillary would have been a disaster for the democratic party and the republican would of had a fields day running Hillary’s attack ad on Obama. Hillary had many cheap shots at him. Certainly, after a stunt like that I didn’t expect her to be on anyone’s short lists. I respect senator Clinton and I was rooting for her in the begining, but damn, her desperation turns me off. sadly, I was embarrased to be a woman. She made us woman sounded like a whiny b**ch.

What I find interesting is how thin people’s skins are.
loveamerica101 talked about HRC’s “attack ads” on Barack/Barry SoetorObamaDunham.
For crying out loud. That point of view seems ot echo BBSOD’s whining and whimpering and cowardice.
If he or any other candidate cannot withstand some tough political ads from opponents, well, respectfully, they should exit left. Immediately.
As for cheap shots? Please. It happens. Has been happening since elections of any sort have been held.
Again, leaders know how to handle this. Not whine. Not blame. Not leave press conferences because they don’t want to talk about, for example, shady relationships with the likes of Tony Rezko. Etc.
As for desperation? Respectfully, BBSOD has been and is more desperate than HRC. Evidence of that is how, as racial and social arsonist that he is, he’s raised and continues to rasie race, religion and patriotism, to name a few of the most prominent issues, about himself, though blaming others for that.
As I once heard, if HRC were on BBSOD’s ticket, at least each of them would have two testicles–or, at least, BBSOD would have one.
