Today he complains that McCain’s ads are unfair and mean. He acting like a victim, not a leader. Then the Bill O’Riley interview where Obama couldn’t get a word in edgewise, and he ended up looking defensive and argumentative. Granted O’Riley’s a jerk and bullied Obama, but the appropriate response by Obama should have been, not to play the political correctness game, and tell O’Riley to shut up and listen to his answers, and be calm and in control in the interview. Instead, he tried to get a word in, only to have O’Riley interupt him with a completely different question. Obama looked like an amatuer in that interview, and his inexperience bled through. I don’t think in the next 7 weeks, Obama can overcome the blow the Palin nomination delived to his campaign. The media is focusing on Palin, good or bad press, doesn’t matter. What does matter, is they are not talking about Obama. Yep, it just about over for Obama.

Obama has been glib & cool getting through life on charm & cleverness. Guess what, it’s “crunchtime”. No more dodging especially if your sound tracks have “caught up” with you. Now he is evasive & pausing as if “searching” for that special “they can’t pin this down” later line or “surfing” the web (his brain…sometimes they seem interchangeable) to make sure he’s not contradicting himself. If your honest, upfront & authentic life is easy; if not, it’s tricky. But then you wouldn’t be much of a politician either!
