McCain likes spreading the wealth too, consistant with Bush policies. In the 8 years of the Bush administration $6 billion has been taken from working and middle class Americans and “spread” among the richest 5%.

Your clarification on your site found me nodding my head the whole way through. Thanks for this site. I am a centrist on social issues, moderate conservative on fiscal, and a registered independent.

I would like to know if it’s possible to be an independent but vote for Obama? The fiscal, socialistic plans from Obama are so liberal/left/democrat that you’d have to be extremely conservative on social issues (i.e. would have to be pro life) to offset the fiscal socialism. May be it’s possible to be a purple person and vote Obama but logically, it doesn’t seem likely. Wonder what others think.
