ACORN is a classic example of what is wrong with the economy… putting power and funds in the hands of such organizations leads to disasters…they have accomplished nothing…and introduced a level of corruption that is disgraceful….THIS TYPE OF THING HAS TO BE MADE PUBLIC AND OPENLY DISCUSSED IN DETAIL

CRA is just a piece of the puzzle…the fact is that spitting in the face of financial realities by “deciding” people who aren’t prepared to be home owners should own homes anyway…it actually really hurt the very people it was suppose to help…

and then it started the wheels in motion towards a crises…that people from Bush(like him or not is irrelevant) Greenspan and McCain warned about…but with their fantasy notion of “risk free” investments, their power and the greed of those who saw an opportunity for profit regardless of how sick the machine was getting all rolled together…

…all civilizations come to an end often because they begin to rot from the inside…the US economy will never recover if Obama is elected…the stuff he is proposing has been tried else where and DOES NOT WORK …

…because the US has not jumped on the socialism bandwagon it has remained the engine for economic growth in the world….

…that will end if Obama Reid Pelosi take over….

…go to a socilist country…they invariably have a nepotism of those with power….and while they keep providing programs that are suppose to help this and that group you’ll notice that they continue their priviledged lives where they are scratching each others backs the way Congress and Acorn and Freddie and Fannie players do…

…Wall street excutives do the same thing…they stop believing in capitalism once they get some power they prefer to find ways to guarantee their piece of the pie…

..ethically you cannot defend them but they don’t destroy the economy the way Freddie Fannie Acorn types of organizations do…when people spend money that is not theirs the results are dismal….and ironically the little guy that they say they want to help are the ones that are the most harmed..

…same pattern with the World Bank the IMF and 3rd world countries…they never benefit the regular guy on the street..

…if people want to vote for obama they are free to do so but he should come clean with what he really has done in the past and what he really intends to do if elected and the media should report the facts and get out of the way..

..ethically he is an even bigger problem than he is economically…a man who won’t protect a live birth baby won’t protect anyone

What’s interesting about this video is that it blames the Community Reinvestment Act for the sub-prime crisis, yet even Business Week (by no means a liberal magazine) acknowledges that the CRA is not to blame. The majority of sub-prime loans were made by institutions who are not even regulated by the CRA. And Robert Gordon, a senior fellow at the Center for American Progress, even said “It’s telling that, amid all the recent recriminations, even lenders have not fingered CRA.
