Obama on “People Waving Tea Bags Around”

The basic reason for the Tea Party protests is the concern about government spending and wasteful practices, and that many feel their concerns about government spending and bailouts are not being heard. An interesting element of the Tea Parties is the make of the participants. They were a rather diverse group of fiscal conservatives. Some in the media used the protests to promote their own brand of conservatism, or on the other extreme, some in the media dismissed the protesters as ‘radical right’ crazies. However, if you look at local news coverage of the Tea Parties you can see that they represented a wide range of people who have a legitimate concern about how the government spends money. President Obama would likely have been better served by ignoring the protesters, as was the White House’s first reaction to the Tea Parties. Belittling these people was politically unwise, and pretending that his administration has addressed any of the concerns of fiscal conservatives was less than honest.

  1. As if Obama needs to worry about a group of Fox News loving hypocrites.

  2. Over 540,00 million Americans simultaneous protest nationwide and our President discredits and dismisses them!

That means he missed the vulgar lewd perverted way MSNBC and CNN covered these Americans. Image he ridicules Rush yet doesn’t condemn the inappropriate unprofessional behavior of David Schuster, Maddow, Olbermann, Anderson Cooper and others.

Wonder if Malia and Sasha’s school ever broadcast CNN, or MSNBC like my 11 year old’s school? Or if his daughters have ever looked up or asked him about the term the corrupt media substituted for Tax Day Tea Party Protesters calling them “teabaggers”? No he doesn’t call the corrupt media out on this behavior!

It disgusts and embarrasses me that my president did not condemn the lewd language on MSNBC and CNN knowing that young children watch. Wish someone would ask him “Why did you say nothing about this perverted coverage knowing the kids of American are watching and are on-line savvy and the corrupt media was talking about their parents?” This video disgusted and enraged me:

  3. This is an interesting response to the comments - http://www.parcbench.com/article_details.php?RId=200&topic=front

I thought Anderson Cooper’s remarks were bad, I hadn’t heard how explicit Shusters comments were. Moved right past bias into the land of filth.
