Why is the Media Trying So Hard to Ignore Obama’s Friends?

The media is not ignoring Bill Ayers. You hear that name every day on the network tv. The reason no one besides the McCain people and FOX are super upset about it. Is because no one has any proof that Obama is anyway influenced by Mr. Ayers. I hear lots of innuendo and I don’t see proof that the two actually are friends. I work with a lot of people. We get certain things done. That does not mean that I am friends with them or that I even like them. I am also not aware of a lot of my colleagues backgrounds.
There is no proof of any substantial contact between the two men for the last 3 years. Ayers has not been convicted or even charged with any terrorist activities in the entire time Obama would have known him. He should have gone to Jail back in the 60s, but the fact that he did not is not Obama’s fault or problem. The two men, when working on the same board, were as far as I can tell trying to do good things for the community. So do you really want to go after him for trying to do good for the community?
Finally, I am disappointed in this site as it seems to be now win at all costs instead of discussing the true issues. It really does seem to go against what you’ve stated as your mission for this blog. My understanding of the reason for this blog was a forum to get away from the usual partisan(my side is always right and your side is always wrong) BS. I thought this site was a wonderful idea for many of us purple people. There are plenty of ways to help spread your beliefs regarding John McCain without putting out the smear and innuendo crap that does not dignify anyone. Again, come up with facts and proof. I would change my vote if I was presented with facts instead of gossip and fear mongering. Please let me know if I have misunderstood your purpose for this Blog
