Just Say No Deal, a group that supported Hillary Clinton during the primaries, but refuses to support Barack Obama during the general election released the following statement addressing ACORN.
United States of America (Press Release) October 10, 2008 — The Just Say No Deal coalition cited ACORN’s widespread criminal activity as ‘a national emergency’ on October 6, 2008.
Finally this story has been elevated to the mainstream media, prompting some officials to take action. We applaud Senate Minority Leader John Boehner’s demand that ACORN be stripped of its future funding. Urgent measures like this and yesterday’s eleventh-hour restraining order against Ohio’s Secretary of State must continue daily until all voter fraud is exposed and eliminated.
Above all else, Just Say No Deal says, ‘Country Before Party.’ The sanctity of our votes must be protected at all costs.
Just Say No Deal Coalition Members have been researching and blogging on ACORN’s corruption and its ties to the Obama Campaign for months.
This points to a major reason why a signifact number of Democrats are voting McCain in an election year that should by all measures be an easy win for the Dems. The two major complaints about this election are non-partisan complaints. First, the problems with election fairness and ethics are incredibly troubling. Second, the media is in the tank for Obama in such a big way that that many of us find it shocking.
The impact of ACORN on this election strikes at the heart of democracy itself. We can all argue amongst ourselves about the role of government, or on specific issues. However, the principal of one person one vote is the lynchpin of American government. ACORN putting that principal in jeopardy threatens the integrity of our whole system of government. Clinton supporters were the first to see this threat to the Democratic system during the primaries and particularly the caucuses. As Pajamas Media reports that complaints about caucus fraud were largely chalked up to ’sour grapes’, but research shows there were serious problems with the way the caususes were run.
One Democratic primary voter with a strong background in mathematics, Dr. Lynette Long, has launched a probe into the lopsided caucus victories of Barack Obama, which indeed garnered the nomination.
Her conclusion?
I’ve spent the past two months immersed in data from the 2008 Democratic caucuses. After studying the procedures and results from all fourteen caucus states, interviewing dozens of witnesses, and reviewing hundreds of personal stories, my conclusion is that the Obama campaign willfully and intentionally defrauded the American public by systematically undermining the caucus process.
The data compiled by Dr. Long, along with the video-recorded testimonials of dozens of caucus-goers, are indeed convincing. According to Dr. Long, in a personal interview, reports from caucus attendees are pretty horrifying at worst, wholly undemocratic at best. Female Clinton supporters reported being called “c**ts” and other sexual epithets, being spat upon by Obama supporters, being threatened physically, and an overall environment of hostility. Not exactly the democratic process to which we are accustomed.
These problems with ACORN and the misuse of the system itself, are amplified by the media’s reluctance to report on anything that might appear unfavorable towards Barack Obama. There are ACORN investigations ongoing in at least 12 states, and there is virtually no reporting this issue other than on Fox News who has picked up on it in the last couple weeks. In an insanely long election process we are entering the final month of a campaign where the Democratic nominee has still not been vetted by the media. The evidence of this is that the complaints of Hillary supporters are almost identical to the complaints of McCain supporters. With the addition of Governor Palin to the ticket, even the complaints of sexism in the media are essentially the same from both groups of supporters. In fact, in combination with Senator McCain’s ongoing friendly and respectful relationship with Senator Clinton, his willingness througout his career to work across the aisle, and that it often appears the Clinton’s appear to flat out like and respect McCain more than Obama; many Clinton supporters are now McCain supporters. The basic fact is that the integrity of the system is much more important than an individual candidate or any specific issue. One person one vote is at the core of democracy, and any candidate that does not whole heartedly stand behind that principal should lose the vote of every fair-minded person.

Senator Obama’s fraud upon this country has been facilitated by the mainstream media. I have no idea why professional journalists would stoop to the level of bias we have witnessed, but it certainly explains why Senator Clinton lost the primary. Hopefully, those people who supported Senator Clinton will turn their support to Senator McCain. If all Clinton supporters were to do this, we will defeat Obama. Then perhaps the country will be able to prosecute those responsible for this obviouslly well-planned and well-funded crime. I suspect the media driven hysteria about the economy would also deminish IF Obama were not a candidate.
Ridiculous.
ACORN is being investigated by the very people who benefit when less voters are registered. Consider the following:
1. Most state laws require that all filled out voter registrations, regardless of any suspicions the organization collecting them may have, must be turned in to the state. These laws are necessary in order to prevent partisan groups from registering people, then tossing out their registrations in order to disenfranchize them.
2. In Nevada, which happens to have such laws, ACORN would voluntarily separate out and flag suspicious registrations when they were turned into the secratary of state.
3. That same partisan official decided to use those suspicious registrations, that ACORN itself had flagged when they were turned in as required by state law, as grounds for rading their headquarters. Keep in mind, all those crazy examples of fake names were first found by ACORN and ACORN turned them in separately as suspicious forms that needed follow-up action.
Under the criteria which right-wingers are using to demonize ACORN, every single signature-collecting agency would also be considered fraudulant. Except most of those don’t excercise as much oversight as ACORN does.

Todd Palin was a member of this party, and Sarah Palin attended at least two of their conventions and — whoops! — spoke to their convention as recently as this past Summer. The founder of the party, the late Joe Voegler, once condemned the American flag. Where are the questions about whether Palin loves the American flag?
What about Sarah Palin’s association with the witch doctor, Pastor Muthee, who blessed Palin at her church and prayed for her “finances”? Does Sarah Palin believe in witches? Does Sarah Palin support witch hunts? Does she know who Cotton Mather was?
What about Sarah Palin’s association with indicted Senator Ted “Tubes” Stevens, whose 527 organization was run by Sarah Palin?
Then there’s Senator McCain.
What about Senator McCain’s association with convicted Watergate burglar G. Gordon Liddy? This is the guy who, on the public airwaves, instructed his viewers about how to kill a federal agent. This is the guy who boasted that he fired a handgun at a cardboard standee of Senator Hillary Clinton. Yet Senator McCain has appeared on Liddy’s radio show numerous times since these statements — as recently as May, 2008.
What about Senator McCain’s relationship with pastor Rod Parsley, who wants to engage in religious warfare?
What about Senator McCain’s relationship with anti-Catholic, anti-Semitic pastor John Hagee?
Should I go on?
What about Senator McCain’s relationship with his chief campaign advisor Charlie Black who said a terrorist attack would help the campaign?
What about Senator McCain’s association with Shelley Shannon who is accused of shooting and wounding an abortion doctor?
What about Senator McCain’s association with Charles Keating? What about his association with Freddie Mac lobbyist Rick Davis — you know, John McCain’s campaign manager? What about his association with the U.S. Council for World Freedom, whose board also included a Nazi sympathizer?

My question is why professional journalists have stooped to the lowest level of bias!! Hilary Clinton supporters MUST support Senator McCain to ensure the prosecution of financial executives and their Washington cronies for the economic crisis driven by a hysterical Obama and main stream media!! Obama is a reactive, radical Arab Muslim and main stream media is covering up his fallacies including his questionable associations — Wright, Ayers, and Rezko and their obvious hate and disdain for America!!
